AAP, Animal Advocacy and Protection, is a European animal welfare organization based in the Netherlands and Spain. For over 50 years, we have been dedicated to protecting the welfare of wild ("exotic") animals through rescues, providing solutions for law enforcement, and advocating for comprehensive regulations to address the inherent risks to the wildlife pet trade. Through close collaboration with governments and civil society, our ambitions include tackling the private
ownership of wild animals, the illegal wild animal trade, and the use of wild animals for entertainment purposes fairly and sustainably.
