AECM currently has 50 member organisations operating in 32 countries in Europe. Its members have in common the mission of providing loan guarantees for SMEs who have an economically sound project but cannot provide sufficient bankable collateral.
The association has the task to defend the interests of its members most of all at the European level, to facilitate the exchange of best practices, and to make the guarantee instrument better known.
