EATIP is the European Technology Platform addressing research & innovation priorities for the sustainable development of European aquaculture. Membership comprises industry, academia, research organisations, associations & civil society organisations. EATiP is a-political & registered ASBL under Belgian law. EATiP operates to a Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda (https://eatip.eu/sria/) agreed by the membership & subject to wide consultation. A number of national and regional Mirror Platform clusters give a total membership reach of c. 850 members. EATiP facilitates multi-stakeholder interactions, promoting research & innovation of high relevance to the industry & encourages the uptake of research results with high impact potential. Goals of EATIP include identifying & implementing actions so as to improve the competitiveness & sustainability of the European aquaculture value chain, specifically through research & innovation. EATiP is privately funded by membership fees.
