EIPA is a not-for-profit, independent foundation, founded in 1981 under Dutch private law, with the constitutional mission to support the EU and its Member States by developing the capacities of their public officials and civil servants, dealing with EU affairs. EIPA is further mandated to support the public sector of the EU applicant countries in meeting the EU accession requirements. In fulfilment of its core mission, EIPA provides three strands of services, i.e. Learning and Development, Research and Technical Assistance across 5 broad areas of expertise: Effective Public Administration; Management of Public Funding; EU Policy Making and Governance; Global EU and EU Law and Policies. EIPA is independent of national and political allegiances and is delivering its services as a neutral broker, based on the highest international professional standards and with full regard for the ideas inspiring European integration.
