ERRIN is a Brussels-based network that brings together regional and local actors from across Europe who are actively working in R&I to build partnerships, develop collaborative projects, and promote the regional and local perspective in European R&I policy and programmes.
We offer a platform for knowledge exchange and support project development to strengthen regional and local R&I capacities and foster sustainable and inclusive growth in all regions. Through our working groups we work with R&I in a comprehensive way that is cross-sectorial and cross-disciplinary, promoting ecosystem thinking (quadruple helix cooperation) and the importance of regional and local innovation ecosystems.
ERRIN plays a key role in Brussels by raising the profile of its members and the regional agenda in EU R&I policies to make them respond better to the needs of European regions. ERRIN also works closely with the European institutions and partners to advance the interests of regions in R&I.
