Aims

The association shall pursue the following aim: to strengthen European democracy and engage Europe’s people and media in a debate about proposals and initiatives to influence the development of the EU so that its future political strategies better reflect the needs of the people. The association will collaborate with other European initiatives to further this aim. The aim of the association may be achieved through subsidiaries or through partners and collaboration with other organisations.

NEPF pursues its aims through:
• Research and development
• Policy advice,
• Design and Implementation of participatory processes,
• Training and capacity building
• Exchange of experience
• Media and communication building of public spheres
• Other activities

NEPF has 90 member organisations that include civil society organisations, research institutions and professional organisations working with participatory and deliberative processes at local, national and European level.
