The Infectious Disease Alliance (IDA) is a global civil society organization dedicated to addressing infectious disease challenges through advocacy, policy reform, and strategic partnerships. IDA unites stakeholders across sectors—civil society, scientific societies, patient groups, governments, and the private sector—to promote integrated solutions that prevent, treat, and control infectious diseases worldwide.
Our mission is to elevate infectious diseases on the global health agenda, ensuring equitable access to care, medicines, and innovative technologies, particularly for vulnerable populations and LMICs. We advocate for evidence-based policies, foster collaboration, and support research and development in areas such as AMR, vaccine-preventable diseases, and zoonotic diseases.
With specialized committees and a One Health approach, IDA focuses on cross-cutting themes, including primary healthcare integration, digital health, and emergency management.
