As a liberal humanist umbrella organization, Unie Vrijzinnige Verenigingen (DeMens.nu) has 38 member associations, each with a specific mission. These organizations are active in a range of areas, including: social work; cultural and artistic work; youth development; supporting reproductive rights and services; and the education sector, including around comprehensive sexuality education.
The objectives of Unie Vrijzinnige Verenigingen (DeMens.nu) include:
• Developing the liberal humanist community;
• Supporting and coordinating initiatives and actions at the request of member associations;
• Taking initiatives and carrying out actions in consultation with member associations;
• Organising, managing and developing non-denominational moral services.
• Representing the liberal non-denominational community in relation to the government and third parties.
As an organisation concerned with promoting an inclusive and universalist vision of human rights at the national and international level
